About the Fund

The Longville Area Community Foundation was established in 1992 and is dedicated to enriching the community through grants to charitable institutions and individuals in need. Foundation funds are used for health and safety, educational and environmental purposes.

The Longville Area Community Foundation serves residents in Cass County, Minnesota residing in the townships of Woodrow, Wabedo, Kego, Pine Lake, Inguadona, Trelipe, Thunder Lake, Rogers, Boy Lake, and the City of Longville.

The Longville Area Community Foundation is a Partner Fund of the Initiative Foundation. As a program of the Initiative Foundation, all Longville Area Community Foundation contributions are professionally managed and stewarded for the benefit of the community now and long into the future.

Vision and Grant Priorities

Vision

The vision of the fund is to make each citizen aware of the past, present, and future of the Longville Area Community Foundation as a dynamic entity for promoting the growth of our community and the well-being of citizens, and to make them aware that through their donations they become trustees of this organization and proud contributors to the wellbeing of the community. Support the Longville Area Community Foundation through your financial donations, time and talent. In doing so, you become champions of the community.

Grant Priorities

  • Support community-based green spaces, parks, environment and recreation.
  • Support community arts and education programs.
  • Support programs that address health and safety.
  • Support activities driven by community members and non-profits for the intended service area.
  • Support innovative planning for future community success.

While the mailing address may be in St. Paul, the Initiative Foundation continues to maintain its headquarters in the heart of Central Minnesota at 405 First St. SE, Little Falls, MN 56345.
